Industrial Project

For photography class, we were assigned to a portfolio project
Just 10 pictures of a particular type of photography
For mine I chose "Industrial"
Or...*chuckle* Steampunk

I haven't chosen my 10 photos yet
That will be a post for another day

But I wanted to show something anyways

. . .

I haven't blogged in a while

. . .

But I will post photos that will most likely will not be in the project
I will present the project as a whole when it is done

Hope I made any since :/

Well . . . here ya go!

^^^
I like how this is just a bunch of trash in an ally

^^^
I kinda guessed that this wouldn't be considered Industrial Photography, per say
But I am really proud of this result, anyways!
Seriously, these jars are so bad ass

^^^
Gah, I love this clock!
It is located just down the street from my house
And the dark blue night time color background makes this a perfect picture

Thanks for reading

Drippy Colors

Latest photos!
Dropping food dyes into vases filled with water
and just snap away

I took so many photos
I'm not kidding I had a tough choice on what looked best and what was complete crap

So here are the ones I chose

^^^
I enhanced these colors a tad to make this a little more interesting

^^^
This looks like a tornado to me
A wonderful blue and mix of green

^^^
Swirly

^^^
Another swirly

^^^
This is just a nice color

^^^
Almost looks like two grasping hands

Thats really it

Light Bulb Show

These are some old photos from November or September of last year
They are pretty cool to share, so here

I took these in the photography class I started taking at my school
This was an awesome experiment by the crazy but extremely creative Mr. Allen
He had broken bulbs just sitting around and he decided to use them for a lesson

And here are the results
Well, these are my favorites
They have been heavily edited to give a different feel in each picture

This makes me think of radiation
Or a radiation explosion

Kind of antique feel
Almost like. . . Steampunk?
I say that a lot!
I just really enjoy Steampunk stuff

I have a lot of other good photos too
It was really hard to choose which were the "good" shots and which were the "bad"
Some of my photo's files just got fucked up and I couldn't even export them

I. . . hate. . . iPhoto

T^T

Well, at least I have these

:D

Steampunk Parts

This was my first creative photo that I have ever taken with my new camera

This was kind of a homework assignment for my photography class
This is a photo of a small watch that I found at Goodwill and took apart to salvage all of its wonderful gear parts!

I will admit, this was kind of a rushed photo
I did it for the sake of finishing some homework

But I also needed to learn how my camera worked
Back then (August of 2010) I didn't have ANY experience with really hardcore photography lessons, cameras, settings, all that shits

Now, I am more. . . aware of my camera, settings, and photography
But I'm not that great
I try to hard to become a photographer
Not sure why
I need to relax more about everything
Somehow I'm not

Anyways
This was the first
And my teacher loved it!
He went kinda crazy about it
It was a relief to have him all excited over my work
It gave me a lot of confidence

. . .

What happened to that?

o.O

Intro: My World

Welcome to the new blog
"In the Eyes of A Kat"

Hope you enjoy entering a little piece of this life

Many pieces featured in this blog will represent not only the art that has been creatively shoved out of ones mind, but you will also witness the deep emotions from the past life
The emotions that one refused to report to fellow family members and friends

There is nothing more to say
I will let you read on

As they say
"A picture tells a thousand words"
